Meet Ria
Ria Saraf is a London-based dancer, choreographer, and teacher who uses dance as a tool for empowerment, connection, and joy. Rooted in her love for Bollywood and over a decade of training in various styles, she blends technical skill with expressive storytelling.
Whether she’s leading workshops, choreographing weddings, or performing on stage, Ria brings heart, purpose, and magic to every space she enters.
Where It Began
Born in the UK, Ria grew up obsessed with Bollywood dance — teaching herself routines by watching songs on repeat and sharing them with anyone who’d join in. Alongside years of self-led training, she spent over a decade training in Ballroom and Latin, developing strong foundations in rhythm, form, and musicality, and eventually competing nationwide.
Professional Dance Career
After moving to London, Ria trained extensively with several professional dance companies and choreographers, expanding her versatility and building invaluable industry experience.
Throughout her journey, she has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including dancing 1-on-1 with Nora Fatehi, performing with Tesher, and appearing in music videos for Bollywood icons like Jasmine Sandlas, Arjun and many more.
When the time felt right, Ria stepped into teaching – a turning point in her career where she discovered her true calling. Over the past three years, she has taught consistently sold-out workshops across London, the UK, and more recently, the United States on her debut tour.
Ria’s workshops are known for their infectious energy, focus on empowerment, and ability to create safe, joyful spaces where dancers can grow in confidence and leave feeling better than when they walked in. She strongly believes in the healing power of dance and its ability to positively impact mental health.

Mission & Current Projects
Ria is passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and valued, regardless of their journey. She is committed to curating memorable moments through dance – whether that’s in workshops, 1 to 1s, or life’s special occasions. Currently, Ria wants to expand her international teaching, with plans to tour India and Europe to continue creating memories across the world. She is also excited about the prospect of working with brands and bringing visions to life through dance.
